Schubert Sauvignon Blanc 2007

Yes – a 2007 and still very much alive. A small percentage spent five months on old oak (according to the website), and it makes this wine. It’s developed but towards stone and tropical fruits, not the typical Sauv blanc canned peas. Good finish with acid and fruit in balance (perhaps a touch of helpful residual sugar?). I like this.
