Schubert Block B Pinot Noir 2008

Medium deep red robe, still fresh and bright. Meaty notes and dark cherries and red fruits/plum; a bright floral sweetness there too. Elegant, feminine (as in classy) wine that’s in balance; clean, fruits reflect those on the nose (cherries, plums) along with floral notes and a delicious sweet earthy/mushroom tones. Long fine finish with fruit, and acid in balance. I didn’t even need to mention tannins – that’s how good they are. Lovely fine wine.
