Robe tending amber but good clear depth of red. Nose very alive – blackcurrant, forest floor and plums with a touch of lanolin. Tannins a bit forward with a hint of greenness, but plums, tobacco and fruit are there on top. Mellow and balanced, although a little tannic on the finish.
